the google link at the top of my gmail for this entire morning has been “top 10 reasons not to sleep with him.” seriously google, i love you and everything, and i know you read my email, but when i want your advice i’ll ask for it.Eerie.
They do parse people’s emails for keywords for targeted ads. Technically it would be possible to include words and phrases commonly used by women in emails to their girlfriends about the new guy.
I wonder what the male corollary would be. Condom ads?

that’s a really good question, actually. this is what’s interesting - i have not actually discussed sleeping with this particular man via emails to girlfriends. i’ve definitely blasted off several slightly insane, anxiety-filled rants/questions/BS, but nothing literally about sex. it’s funny how google is now reading between the lines of my emails.
what WOULD the male corollary be? guys? -M
